I recently had the privilege of exploring cinematography for the first time, collaborating with my talented wife, Shveta Jain, on a visual interpretation of one of my favorite songs, "Tumko Dekha To Ye Khayal Aaya," which I also had the joy of singing. We filmed at Uvas Canyon, CA one of my favorite places. This beautiful ghazal, originally performed by the legendary Jagjit Singh, is a timeless classic from the 1982 film Saath Saath, featuring Farooq Shaikh and Deepti Naval. The song's evocative lyrics, penned by Javed Akhtar, beautifully capture the essence of blossoming romance, comparing the feeling of falling in love to the gentle rustling of leaves and the serene flow of a river. https://lnkd.in/g7nyK9aD

The rustling leaves and flowing rivers in the lyrics must’ve mirrored the landscapes perfectly.
