Just back from the National Entrepreneurs' Convention in the UK, and it’s given me a lot to think about. Being in a room full of business owners and innovators really got me reflecting on the importance of asking the right questions—especially those that are customer-focused. Over the last few months, we’ve been using AI tools to help scale the business, but the biggest breakthroughs haven’t come from the technology alone. They’ve come from asking better questions: 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙤 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙡𝙮 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙? 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙢? 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 𝙬𝙖𝙮, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙭 𝙞𝙩? The moment we stop asking these kinds of questions, things stop improving. We stop innovating, and before you know it, everything just stays the same. And that’s not good enough for me. As entrepreneurs, it’s our job to be constantly questioning, all the time: - What more could we do for our customers? - How can we serve them better? - What aren’t we doing that we should be? That’s how businesses grow. It’s how we stay ahead. And I hate the idea of not moving forward, of missing out on the next big opportunity because we didn’t ask the right questions. This trip was even more special because I was there with my son Alessandro, who’s now officially joined the business as a 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵. Watching him engage with these ideas and bring fresh energy to our work was a proud moment for me. Together, we’re committed to continuing to ask the tough, customer-centric questions that help us deliver more value. One thing’s for sure: I’ve come back with a renewed focus. Asking better questions, staying curious, and never settling—that’s the key to growth. So, what questions are you asking about your customers? It could make all the difference.
