It was a rewarding experience to lead the "Finance for Non-Finance Managers" workshop, where I had the privilege of guiding a diverse group of students and professionals through essential financial concepts. This workshop was designed to demystify finance and empower participants to make informed decisions in their respective roles, even without a formal background in finance. Throughout the sessions, I aimed to break down complex financial terminology and practices into clear, understandable segments. We covered key areas such as importance of accounting and finance, interpreting financial statements and use of fundamental tools for financial analysis, all tailored to the practical needs of non-finance students and professionals. Honestly, it was gratifying to see the "aha" moments when participants realized how these financial tools and insights could be directly applied to their roles, enabling them to contribute more effectively to their organizations.
