Coming from a technical background, I’ve always been intrigued by numbers – but the world of finance brings a whole new perspective. At IFZA’s “Money Matters” session, I explored essential finance terms like Accrual Accounting, Revenue, and Financial Statements, and learned how these metrics truly impact business success. One statistic that resonated with me was from Forbes: “82% of all business failures are due to poor financial management” (Forbes, 2018). This figure highlights just how critical sound financial practices are in securing a business’s future. Numbers aren’t merely metrics; they’re stories of stability, growth, and resilience. Grateful to IFZA for this insight-packed session, and excited to bridge my technical background with this essential financial knowledge! #IFZA #BareqAlmas #Finance #BusinessSetup

It was a rewarding experience to lead the "Finance for Non-Finance Managers" workshop, where I had the privilege of guiding a diverse group of students and professionals through essential financial concepts. This workshop was designed to demystify finance and empower participants to make informed decisions in their respective roles, even without a formal background in finance. Throughout the sessions, I aimed to break down complex financial terminology and practices into clear, understandable segments. We covered key areas such as importance of accounting and finance, interpreting financial statements and use of fundamental tools for financial analysis, all tailored to the practical needs of non-finance students and professionals. Honestly, it was gratifying to see the "aha" moments when participants realized how these financial tools and insights could be directly applied to their roles, enabling them to contribute more effectively to their organizations. Overall, this workshop underscored the importance of financial literacy and I’m proud to have played a part in equipping these students and professionals with the skills they need to succeed. #Financialliteracy #Summerbootcamp #Finance #Accounting #SZABIST
