How 44 Families Raised $4,200, Easily! By following a simple, proven approach, these families raised $4,200 for their sports club. Goal No 1: Achieved for 2024 ✅ At the start of 2024, we set 10 big goals for the year for Kingston Barnes, – a number that’s since grown to 16 as the years developed. Raising £10,000 for charity was right at the top of that list. Today, I’m incredibly proud to say we’ve not only hit that target – we’ve smashed it, raising an incredible £13,373.56 for The Lord Mayor of Bristol's Children Appeal! This is officially the first goal we’ve achieved this year, and it feels like a huge win. This success is down to some incredible teamwork, collaboration, and creativity. A huge thank you to Kate Hallett, Kathryn Westwood and the entire Kingston Barnes team, as well as everyone in the Construction and Property Partnership who made it all possible (special mention to Sulli Gardner whose been my comedy double act, partner in crime and if you’ve ever wondered what would happen if Ant & Dec did recruitment, construction and fundraising, look no further. Together, we’ve made our events some of the most attended in the industry and raised amounts we’ve never seen before: 🚴♂️ 1650km Cycle Challenge: £1,718 ⚽ 5-A-Side Football Tournament: £6,098 ❓ Christmas Charity Quiz Night: £5,557.50 2024 hasn’t been without its challenges. Plans have shifted, obstacles have cropped up, and not every goal will be ticked off. But that’s okay. What truly matters is progress, not perfection. It’s about adapting, showing up, and making sure we’re always moving forward. Because even when the path changes, every step in the right direction counts. To everyone who supported us – thank you.
