It is indeed wonderful to note that there is an increased appreciation of the benefits of regenerative agriculture in relation to the cotton value chain. Furthermore, what is equally wonderful to note the approach by which regenerative agriculture in cotton is being carried out, namely via multi-stakeholder collaboration. In this regard, consider the collaboration between SÖKTAŞ TEKSTİL, Stella McCartney Foundation and United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). To further elaborate on this benefit, the approach of regenerative agriculture in cotton can be understood as enhanced soil water holding capacity. The Alliance of Cotton & Textile Stakeholders on Regenerative Agriculture (ACRE) focuses on mainstreaming the adoption of regenerative agricultural practices in the cotton value chain.
