Next Wednesday, July 24, at TrustCon, four All Tech is Human members (Diane Chang, Swapneel Mehta, Eric Davis, and Senior Fellow Alexis Crews) are hosting a cross-sector panel entitled: 2024 Elections and AI Case Studies: Beware the Six-Fingered Man. This panel will tackle the pressing topic of #AI’s impact on the 2024 elections thus far. In this panel discussion, they will share emerging patterns of AI usage in global elections and present insights from the latest research on AI-generated content’s impact on distribution platforms, along with highlighting trends to watch in the remaining elections of 2024. Additionally, our advisor and affiliate, Theodora Skeadas, will speak about our AI-generated CSAM guidelines in collaboration with Thorn, at the “Enacting Generative AI Safety by Design Principles to Combat Child Sexual Abuse” panel. The panel will discuss how a diverse group of generative AI leaders and child safety advocates worked to establish a set of Safety by Design principles for the entire lifecycle of machine learning (ML)/AI from the earliest stages: development, deployment, and maintenance.
