Starting the week on a humourous note. Managing stress takes many forms and one of my favourites is time with my amazing rescue dog Roo. 💡 Did you know scientific research confirmed that just 10 minutes of interacting with a dog produces a significant reduction in cortisol, a major stress hormone? So, it's funny to think of it from our dog's perspective. I'm pretty confident Roo is enjoying our time together much more than this The New Yorker depiction. #stressmanagement #humour #perspective #wellness
From personal experience, I've actually found out my mood gets elevated when I see dogs. Since I'm in Canada now, I encounter dogs everyday and ensure to spend few minutes with them 😅 PS: I love when they're so playful and jumping around in excitement
Our bodies respond to the activity in our minds - and we tend to relax the mind when enjoying time with our pets - allowing in clarity, calm and often new ideas. Of my 3, I definitely have 1 that is sure she’s responsible for me. 🤣 We’re so blessed to have them in our lives.
