🧸🚨🎄🚒 Today I was able to spend some time with various teams around our system listening and learning about what they do, their impact, what some of our opportunities are, and why they choose us each day. I left each encounter more educated and filled with gratitude. From our University of Arizona Cancer Center Banner Health to our Banner Health -Banner University Medicine South, North Campus, and our Tucson Campus so many amazing things are happening through our teams. I spent time today with our nurses, our doctors, our guest services, supply chain, child life specialists , environmental services colleagues, and so many more. Each individual in our system contributes to delivering safe and high quality care daily. The focus on serving our patients, communities, and one another is inspiring! The desire to truly connect and make a positive difference in the lives of Tucsonans and our communities of Southern Arizona is in their DNA. The themes I heard all day in different settings and into this evening - including during our “Lights of Love” celebration for our youngest of patients at our Diamond Children’s Hospital supported by dozens of First Responders from all over Southern Arizona, American Medical Response & Dunkin was: teamwork, culture, compassion, education, opportunity to grow , our research & innovation gives us pride, and “we care”! My heart is full…how could it not be. Now…we have opportunities ahead of us to evolve and impact…and we will listen, learn, and move forward always keeping our people and all whom we care for at the center of everything we do! We must as good stewards. Thank you to our communities for your trust and confidence in us as your Healthcare partner and thank you to all of our teams at Banner Health - Banner University Medicine Tucson & South & North and all of our sites for the work you do 25/7/365! ( leap year 😉)! #BannerProud #OneTeamOneMission #LeadForward #AcademicMedicine #CultureMatters #Gratitude
