AI & Humanity | AI is a helpful technology in just about every industry... but it's important to look at how it impacts us as humans. And studies show it might not be the best for our mental health. "Across four studies, employees who use it as a core part of their jobs reported feeling lonelier, drinking more, and suffering from insomnia more than employees who don’t," reports David De Cremer and Joel Koopman. It's important that agencies strike a healthy balance when integrating AI into their business. Personally, I feel that we can use AI to improve productivity and efficiency while also ensuring that people don't feel isolated. An AI-native culture is all about integrating AI seamlessly in order to augment team members' workflows... it's not about making an employee's whole job AI-centric. #AINativeCulture #AI #EmployeeWellbeing

AI and the Rise of Loneliness: Are We Building Connection or Just Filling the Void? As loneliness rises globally, AI is stepping in to play a surprising new role; a friend, a confidant, even a support system. With digital companions like Replika or Woebot, people are finding solace in AI’s 24/7 availability and endless patience. But here’s the question that’s more relevant than ever: Can AI nurture real relationships, or are we just creating an illusion of connection? Today, AI-powered friends can "remember" our interests, empathize with our struggles, and provide tailored advice. For many, especially those isolated by work-from-home setups or personal circumstances, these AI interactions feel like real companionship. However, is AI filling the gap of true human connection or reshaping our expectations of what it means to relate to others? Real-world stories reveal both hope and complexity: while AI may be a lifeline for some, it also begs the question ; are we investing enough in real, human relationships? What role do you see for AI in addressing loneliness? Can it complement human connection or is it just a substitute? #AI #Loneliness #DigitalRelationships #HumanConnection #ArtificialIntelligence #MentalHealth #FutureOfRelationships

The belief that AI is going to eliminate jobs is a myth. 🦄 In our new "Transform Your Healthcare Operations with Technology and AI" webinar, Ron Present says AI is a part of the workforce's evolution -- and it will complement jobs, not eliminate them. As an example of how such technology will work with staffers and not against them, Ron brings up the movie "Hidden Figures." 📽️ If you don’t have time to watch the whole flick, check out our video for a quick synopsis (and to get Ron's point) – plus find out what Eric Shuss has to add: https://lnkd.in/eP2WV-nf #AI #healthcare #technology #innovation

It isn't surprising that a recent survey by the MIT Sloan Management study found that AI use was highest among large companies. More than 50% of companies with more than 5,000 employees were using AI, as were more than 60% of companies with more than 10,000 employees. Use varied among sectors. About 12% of firms in manufacturing, information services, and health care were using AI, compared with 4% in construction and retail. #AI #economy #economicimpactofAI
