Some things I'm thinking about as we close out Global Company Culture Month... This is a great month to take a step back and examine whether your company culture is functioning in a way that maximizes employee productivity and happiness. Here are a few questions to consider as you conduct your analysis: ❔ Does leadership discuss culture as often as we talk about profit and business performance? ❔ Does our hiring and onboarding process help people understand our culture? ❔ Are we ensuring that we have a diverse team? ❔ Do people feel safe to offer ideas and provide feedback? ❔ Is alignment with culture part of performance reviews, promotions, bonuses, etc? #GlobalCompanyCultureMonth

Early in my career, I underestimated the power of employee retention. Investing in our team's well-being has transformed our company culture and boosted productivity. Here’s what I’ve learned: Communication is Key: Regularly engaging with employees and listening to their feedback can uncover valuable insights and areas for improvement. Professional Development: Offering opportunities for growth and learning helps keep employees motivated and committed. Recognition and Appreciation: Simple acts of recognition can significantly boost morale and loyalty. By focusing on these areas, we’ve created a supportive and thriving work environment. Investing in our team’s well-being has not only improved retention but also driven our overall success. #EmployeeRetention #Leadership #CompanyCulture

HR isn't responsible for dictating company culture. We can support the founders/CEO of the organization with: - Crafting clear values aligned to how they want the company to operate - Communicating vision and mission effectively to employees - Organizing onboarding, career development, performance management and more, in alignment with the culture they want to build We can even help founders/CEOs look at the different cultures of other organizations, and put together a market map to help them figure out the type of company they want to be. But we cannot choose the culture of an organization for its founders or CEO. We can enable culture, but we cannot dictate it. HR cannot single-handedly build company culture. It never works. #hr #culture #leadership

Love this! Culture starts at the top and begins with CEO’s/Founders creating their culture around accountability. As someone in Employee Engagement, engagement initiatives through HR are part of the puzzle, however, the missing piece is how to effectively bridge the gap between the disconnect that some CEO/Founders have with their employees. A culture of accountability emphasizes the importance of trust and transparency both ways in order to empower employees and understand how their voices matter in the decision-making process. CEO’s can help their organization meet financial goals by implementing employee engagement into their strategy! I believe that research states (I don’t remember the source) disengaged employees cost organizations up to $87 million a year due to things such as absenteeism. Company culture is one of the biggest driving factors to performance in addition to one of the biggest driving factors for engagement being leadership’s effectiveness at communicating a motivating vision. Employees are one of, if not, the MOST important stakeholders for organizational success.

Employee Morale, how important is it? While product growth can be thrilling and dynamic, it’s crucial not to overlook team development and consistent leadership check-ins. We recently partnered with an organization boasting excellent services, yet they faced declining morale and rising turnover. Advyz's mission was to reinvigorate their company culture and enhance employee engagement. Here’s how we did it: 1. Leadership Workshop: We crafted a tailored workshop in collaboration with the leadership team, ensuring it resonated with the company's vision. This initiative not only aligned all team members with the company's strategic goals but also fostered a unified sense of purpose and direction. 2. New Deliverables to Energize the Team: -Personalized Professional Development Plans -Updated LinkedIn Banners & Profiles -New Swag to Promote the Brand -Annual Team Summit Agenda with Strategic Goals, Departmental Focuses, Culture Elements, Guest Speakers, Etc. The results? Within just three months, employee engagement scores soared by 45%, and the team developed a much stronger connection with leadership. If you think about your company culture, aside from the ping pong tables and team outings, what does it REALLY feel like to work in your organization? 🤷♀️ I've created a simple quiz to show where you might fall in the THRIVE Culture Maturity Model. If you're in the first stage, the REACTIVE stage, things might feel a little rough for your employees AND your KPIs for productivity, profit, and employee engagement are likely low. Does any of this sound familiar? ⛔ Career paths are unclear and rarely discussed ⛔ Inconsistent processes or systems in place ⛔ Recognition is rare and usually only tied to compensation ⛔ Leadership rarely discusses or demonstrates your company's core values ⛔ Lack of clear communication and direction from leadership Take the THRIVE Culture Quiz and see where your culture is in the maturity model. Once you know where you are, then you can start to plan where you want to go! #culturematters #culturecoach #thriveculture

Lately, I have been in a lot of discussions about culture. Forbs defines it as “company culture is the driving force behind your business. Think of it as your business’s DNA, defining how your team interacts and performs” Culture is something that doesn’t just exist. You need to work on it. Everywhere, all the time. Its not just making fancy posters of your values and hanging it on the walls. It needs to be present in your operations, how you act, how you decide. 💡 The importance culture has on employee engagement, we all know and hear about all the time. 💡 Good culture also leads to employee retention. Something many are struggling with these days. 💡 Attracting top talent. Another issue today 💡 Did you know that good culture leads to much higher profitability? More than 20% higher according to some studies. 💡 So make sure you ACT on your said values, missions, visions. 💡 At the end of the day, if you don’t lead according to your culture, why should anyone else work according to it? What are your thoughts on the subject? #consultant #mgmtbylogikfabriken #informationtechnology #leadership #culture

Over the years, I've worn a lot of hats—behavior specialist, educator, and more recently, supervisor. What ties all these roles together? A deep commitment to helping people succeed. I’ve always believed that a strong company culture isn’t just a “nice to have”—it’s essential. When people feel supported and valued, everything else falls into place. Employee retention goes up, recruitment gets easier, and performance reaches new heights. If your company is struggling in these areas, it is a clear sign your company culture isn't meeting the standards of your employees. I love working with teams to identify challenges and create people-focused strategies that make a real difference. At the end of the day, it’s about building environments where everyone has the opportunity to do their best work and feel good doing it. Here’s to making workplaces better for everyone. 💪 #Leadership #CompanyCulture #PeopleFirst #GrowthMindset
