With our final meeting, the journey of the FAUMUN2024-delegation ends - for now. It is difficult to explain by how far this program has exceeded my expectations. Yes, FAUMUN is a seminar about the United Nations, but also so much more. During my 6-month-FAUMUN journey, I have learned a lot about myself and my fellow delegates. In this time, everyone in the delegation has outgrown her-/himself. Sharing such a long time with each other shapes everyone. During this time, we have been not only working within a highly professional context, but also got know each other personally. During the stressful environment of conferences, we have become a family that sticks together and stands up for each other. It is unbelievable how much work and effort the organizers, especially Anabel Kummer as the Project Director, but also Sophia Lindemiller, Kai Langer and Julia Klopsch put into this seminar. After all, it is a student-lead project that would´nt work, if the participants would´nt care. Although it is impossible to fit 6 months into 3 minutes, the FAUMUN video team has tried (Special thanks to Felix Jurgovsky for your hard work and cutting skill you put into this project! It was a pleasure working with you one this for 6 months!). You can watch the video via the link below: To quote the host of the FAUMUN project, Prof. Markus Krajewski: "What really sort of it is for students is an experience that no one at the university, no professor, no seminar, no lecture could ever give them because, they really experience themselves how it is to work with each other, to work on texts and actually not just do it because then the professor will give them a grade, but because they hope to achieve something together"
