!!!The price increase for the entire route this time mainly started from South America. The reason for the price increase in South America is mainly due to Brazil's continued imposition of tariffs on Chinese new energy vehicles in July and beyond. The BYD brand is building a factory in Brazil and is expected to ship 20000 containers by sea, resulting in insufficient transportation capacity. COSCO withdrew its ships from West Africa to South America, which in turn has led to a general increase in sea freight costs for West Africa routes! In addition, the US election claimed to impose 50-60% tariffs on China in the future, which led to some Chinese companies increasing their investment in South America. The cargo volume in Europe is relatively stable, but due to the impact of the Hu Sai Red Sea crisis and long shipping schedules, there is an increase in the number of ships that need to be operated, which will also cause relatively tight transportation capacity. Taking into account objective factors, the subjective and tacit understanding of the shipowner to raise prices is also a significant factor this time. So the expected future trend is: 1. South America is expected to see a price increase, which will continue until mid to late June (expected 40HQ in Mexico: 6000, 40HQ in Brazil: 8000). 2. The Middle East is relatively stable, but reducing prices is a bit difficult, and the current trend is slightly decreasing or maintaining. 3. European shipping companies have a strong willingness to raise prices, supported by a small amount of cargo volume. CMA has two ships on this route that do not go to Hamburg Port, making it difficult to find positions at Hamburg Port recently. It is expected that the growth will end in mid to late June. 4. Southeast Asia saw a slight increase, with an expected weekly increase of $50. 5. Due to the impact of reduced transportation capacity and a general increase in shipping companies, East Africa is expected to cost around $3500 to $4000. #seafreight #seafreightrising #outdoorfurniture #outdoorliving #SouthAmerica
