We hosted a legend from the pharma world on the Health Pulse Podcast a few days ago, and he said something I loved. "We need to be humble about what we don't know in medicine". It's a crazy concept because we live in an unmatched era of discovery. There's so much that we didn't know, that we now know. Sure, sometimes our business models or incentives hold us back. But we have incredible tools, increasing technology, and the best people across the globe working on this. He talks about DNA and genetics - how we know much of the structure but not all of the function. Really cool to hear both how close we are to truly understanding more of what drives personal health and how far we still are from a future where we can anticipate disease before it starts. Grateful to live in a time where we know so much, yet will feel like we knew so little just a few years into the future. Also, yes that's my son laying on the floor 🤣
