The International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) released a report highlighting record growth in renewable energy capacity additions in 2023. While this is a positive development, the report also sounds a cautionary note. Most of this growth is concentrated in Asia, with developing countries being left behind in the clean energy transition. This uneven distribution of benefits requires equitable policy interventions to ensure everyone benefits from the green energy transition. Building a just and sustainable future requires ensuring universal access to clean energy. Read more: https://lnkd.in/gZkqMqUt
