There is simply too much friction reading a resume right now, so the best way for you to land interviews is by direct message on LinkedIn BUT LET ME BE CRYSTAL CLEAR. You still have to mass apply, because when companies ask you if you have applied yet in the portal and you say no then you have to start from scratch. It’s a lot of work I know and it sucks, but you got to do it. In 2025 mark my words at the rate AI is moving you will all by interviewing with holograms. I am not joking at all. There will be AI recruiting software that will sort, sift, screen (oh yes interview you), and schedule the second round interview. This is why I am telling everybody to land this job as soon as possible and to start a brand (more on that later), but for now you need to deliver a more impactful message to pitch your resume. Chase companies, not titles. - What do I mean by this? I always say that it's far more important to pick the right company to join than what title you (initially) get. Pick a rocketship, work hard and everything else will follow. How to vet companies? Glassdoor (employees) and G2 (customers) reviews are both a great start.. Good opportunity

If you're a solo product marketer, chances are you'll slowly get this weird feeling, and say something like: Oh snap, there's a lot of overlap in what I do and what *insert role here* does.   So what do you do? I've experienced this when product marketing is hired, and roles like enablement, product strategy, or customer marketing are already in place.   One way to mitigate this is in the hiring process. Ask questions about the GTM team, who owns what, if there are plans to hire for specific roles, and if you can chat with folks in those "crossover" areas.  ☝️ I know this sounds like you might be asking for a lot, but bffr: Do you want to be pissed off or frustrated, or do you want to know how things are and plan accordingly? If you're already in seat: educate folks on product marketing and get the crossover folks together to decide who leads/follows/gets out of the way/reviews. ☝️ for this, I've used the pragmatic framework, slides about what product marketing is, and how it helps other functions.    What you don't want in this "crossover" situation: 👉 to be the roadblock 👉 get frustrated and burn out Product marketing works with many functions and can play a very strategic, decisive role in moving the company forward. It's crucial to establish process, communication, and ownership in a way that brings the GTM team together without burning you out. #productmarketing #marketing
