Like every year, Veeamers came together to bring some Christmas magic to those who need it most. This time, we managed to make 83 kids a little happier—and that’s something truly special. To everyone who joined in—thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m so grateful to call you my colleagues and friends. It was such a privilege not only to organize this but to deliver the gifts to the Red Cross. I won’t lie—it was emotional. Seeing the joy these gifts will bring made every bit of effort worth it. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and especially to those who showed up at the office on a Sunday morning to make sure the presents got delivered. This, to me, is what Christmas is all about. I’m so thankful to be part of something this meaningful, and I feel lucky that you let me share in this little miracle with you. Wishing you all the happiest of holidays. And please—don’t forget to be kind. Not just to others, but to yourself too. With love, Sasha

Quick PSA: If a conversation gets abruptly ended without there being technical issues; it’s deliberate. If an invitation to speak somewhere is politely declined for any other reason than a calendar conflict; it’s deliberate. I don’t think I’m late in this, it just has not always been as clear as it has become clear today. Just to be transparent - I will personally refuse servicing or doing business with those who actively pursue the death of others. No need to add a provocative response in the comments. They will be deleted. At least now we are all ‘informed’. This should’ve gone without saying, but apparently it’s necessary in 2024 Thank you, and if you celebrate thanksgiving today; make sure you make a very long list of things to be thankful for. Guarantee it’s worth it. You’ll find there’s more than you thought.

3 simple questions that transformed our family nights—forever. At dinner we go around the table and take turns answering the 3Gs: ➡ Give: How did you help someone today? ➡ Grow: In what ways did you improve over yesterday? ➡ Gratitude: What are you specifically grateful for today? 4 years later, this ritual remains a daily Mamujee practice. I came up with the 3Gs as a way to give my kids a daily compass. My kids have now internalized it. They write about it. Teach their friends. They even strategize what 3Gs they will apply tomorrow, which has been heart warming to see. Our WiFi network is even called “3Gs” for an added reminder when guests stay over. Our nightly practice has turned our dinners into sessions of growth, support, and a real appreciation for one another. It’s also a great way to hold each other accountable. Last week, a close friend gifted us the domain givegrowgratitude dot com. His message? "You should spread this to others." So here I am: Give. Grow. Gratitude. Give it a try. Share it with your family or team. Who will be bold enough to answer one of the 3Gs in the comments today?

Need 10 things to be thankful for? Gratitude changes everything: → It strengthens relationships and builds trust. → Constant appreciation fosters a positive environment. → By saying this, we uplift ourselves and those around us. Here are 10 things to be thankful for: 1) Health: Being able to wake up and function every day. 2) Family: Having loved ones who support and care for you. 3) Friends: The people who bring joy and companionship. 4) Nature: The beauty of the world around us. 5) Opportunities: The chances we get to grow and improve. 6) Learning: The ability to gain knowledge and skills. 7) Challenges: The obstacles that make us stronger. 8) Comforts: The small luxuries that make life easier. 9) Freedom: The ability to make our own choices. 10) Kindness: The acts of goodwill we experience and give. When you feel overwhelmed or down, pause and consider what you are thankful for. A moment of gratitude can change your perspective, and it's important to make it a daily habit. I am grateful for the LinkedIn community.

I legit don’t feel stress ever anymore. Or when I do, it’s short lived and I’m quick to recognize it so I can recover from it. But I’ve learned that stress doesn’t serve me any purpose and if anything, it is often counter productive. Through fully embracing the growth mindset, accepting my own humanity, and redirecting myself whenever I felt stress, I was able to retrain my brain to be more productive in times I previously would have been frazzled and overwhelmed. If you haven’t explored your own stress, stressors and how to manage, 10/10 highly suggest you put in the work.
Writing "Atlas of the Heart" changed pretty much everything I thought I knew about the science of emotions. On the website this week I'm sharing 10 learnings that changed how I think about stress and overwhelm. Full references are included. Overwhelmed by many things. Grateful for even more — including this community. If you're celebrating next week, Happy Thanksgiving! https://lnkd.in/gctT9dxm
