I know this post should have me refelcting on my personal growth, but I couldn't help seeing this and immediately think: "THIS IS WHAT SEO LOOKS LIKE!!!" Being somewhat client facing in my role, I frequently get clients wanting to see the ROI on our SEO efforts...1 month after we started implementation... And I get it, other marketing channels can deliver some pretty exceptional results in such a short time frame, but that's NOT what SEO is about. It's about digging your business' roots deep down into the ground of search engines. It's about laying a solid foundation that will continue to live on long after you've stopped paying heaps of cash for traffic each month. Sure, after a month it may not look like much has happened when looking at certain metrics, and your business' organic footprint may still look like the little sproutling down below. But give it 2 years buddy and you'll have a giant organic butt-kicking oak tree that's giving you the ROI you've always dreamed of.
