I’ve always been hit by the fact that Methane was considered a relevant fuel to combact the climate problem in the 80s and significantly supported by institutions in this sense. This podcast made me reflect on Batteries manufacturing, supply chain and most importantly, the risk we are facing of building another economy of market-concentrated resources (once oil, now critical elements) and all the socially related implications (exploitation). This time might be different, since the entire battery economy is being built circular from its very first step and that’s quite a novel approach. https://lnkd.in/e9CSBTDp

Sharing is caring on a Monday in August 😎 I was alerted to this podcast by our excellent energy transitions team and I thought it would be the perfect way for you to start the week. Deep in thought, that is. Because this podcast hits the nail on the head in asking "What does it mean to be green?" and this is a question I wish more people would ask. After all - how do you get to your target if you don't know (or won't agree) on what the target is? Happy listening and happy Monday! #energy #energytransition S&P Global
