🔥🦀 KING OF CRABS 🦀🔥 🎯 Creativity is the ability to form novel and valuable ideas or works using the imagination. 👁️🗨️ Products of creativity may be intangible (e.g., an idea, a scientific theory, a literary work, a musical composition, or a joke) or a physical object (e.g., an invention, a dish or meal, an item of jewelry, a costume, or a painting). 💪 Creativity may also describe the ability to find new solutions to problems, or new methods of performing a task or reaching a goal. Creativity therefore enables people to solve problems in new or innovative ways. 💡 On the other hand, imagination is the production of sensations, feelings and thoughts informing oneself. 🧠 These experiences can be re-creations of past experiences, such as vivid memories with imagined changes, or completely invented and possibly fantastic scenes. 🏅 Drawing from actual perceptions, imagination employs intricate conditional processes that engage both semantic and episodic memory to generate new or refined ideas. 🚀 Here is great example of a creativity and imagination! 🦀 Crablante king of crabs - RoboCrab or Crabman. 🎬 Now witness this impressive and brilliant work of creativity and imagination. Visual Illusions: Our mind interpreting and drawing conclusions not based on what it sees, but on what it fails to notice. We say UI is not UX, but UI has a significant impact on UX. What UI is not is just making things look good. #UserExperience #UI
𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐢𝐧. Although the sense of rotation is very strong, they are static, but the movement is not related to the arrow cues. The video makes clever use of the Reverse Phi illusion involving bistable perception with flickering and contrasting colors, which also works with negatives of photos. The concept was first published in 1970 by vision scientist S.M. Anstis (linkin comments). Here there is extra visual bias with the cube frames being given shadow and lighting effects across black, grey scale and white. The perceived direction of motion depends on the sequence of the images and the subtle shadowing effects, which is slightly different for each cube. Though there may also be other factors at play. What's impressive here is that the illusion still holds perfectly when seeing two cubes move in opposite direction (kind of perceptual multitasking). The Dream Machine - 5034 #AIArt Prompt: Generate an abstract art piece that embodies a natural setting. This artwork should convey a strong emotion of anger, and it needs to emphasize high contrast throughout. The image should contain a mix of vivid and darker colors to manifest the sharp differences. Environmental elements, like trees or mountains, may appear more complex or transformed, representing the abstract nature of the artwork.

From "On Wings of Gossamer" to "Ikigai: Wings of Purpose" - A Journey of Artistic Evolution Hello, LinkedIn fam and Art Enthusiasts, A few months ago, I shared my intention to explore my Parsee heritage through art. Today, I'm excited to reveal how this journey has transformed, much like the butterflies that inspired it. Initially, I named the collection "On Wings of Gossamer," celebrating the delicate threads that connect us to our roots. But as I delved deeper into my artistic process and purpose, I realized this collection was evolving into something even more profound. During my art hiatus, I've been busy. I've enhanced my corporate creative workshops and completed a 5-module school program for educators, all rooted in my "Mysteries in Colour" style based on pareidolia. These experiences showed me that my art isn't just about heritage - it's about finding and sharing purpose. That's when I discovered Ikigai, the Japanese concept of finding one's reason for being. It perfectly captured what I was trying to express through my art. So, I'm thrilled to introduce the new title of my collection: "Ikigai: Wings of Purpose-A Visual Exploration of Identity and Transformation Why Ikigai? Because it represents the intersection of what you love, what you're good at, what the world needs, and what you can be paid for. As an artist, this resonates deeply with me. It's not just about honouring my Parsee roots but about using my unique perspective to contribute something meaningful to the world. Each painting in this collection still features butterflies, symbolizing transformation. But now, they also represent the journey to find one's purpose. The vibrant colours and abstract forms invite you, the viewer, to find your meaning - your own Ikigai - within each piece. This collection is more than just new work. It's a fresh perspective after 21 years as an artist. It's about the excitement of new inspiration combined with honed skills. Most importantly, it's about connecting with you through art in a way that's both personal and universal. What's your Ikigai? How do you see it reflected in your work? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.

Dimensions of reality. Art has long been a bridge to other dimensions of reality, where artists invite us to step beyond the visible and explore realms that seem to exist parallel to our own. Through paint, sculpture, and digital media, they build worlds that echo our own yet twist familiar elements into places that feel foreign and dreamlike, creating a surreal connection between our experiences and imagined dimensions. These artistic "parallel worlds" expand our sense of reality, offering glimpses into perspectives and landscapes unbound by time and logic. Marek Slavík’s work, for instance, emphasizes harmony and balance, reflecting a universe that mirrors ours yet exists as a meditative alternative . Artists like Sun Xun, on the other hand, seek to unlock doorways to alternate realities, probing the unknown and inviting viewers to consider how imagination can be a conduit to places just beyond the edge of perception . Réveillard’s dedication to augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) aligns him with a cadre of contemporary artists exploring similar territories. These creations resonate because they address universal human themes—memory, fear, and beauty—but frame them within new worlds, allowing us to question our own. Such art doesn’t merely show; it immerses us in the vast, often mysterious terrain of the mind, where alternate realities, like those of Jenny Brown's intricate landscapes, exist in parallel with the world we inhabit . This approach to art challenges us to consider not only what reality is but what it could be. What will be the long-term impact of AI on our interior worlds? And how might we value the (often) slow craft of taking an idea from seed, to germination, to maturation and completion, when we can instantaneously #prompt (or transmit via #neurotechnology) an idea into existence through a simple phrase or thought? Now, more than ever, we need to protect and craft moments of refuge and #reflection - and for me, the myriad processes of creation offer this in depth and abundance. Whether through putting pen to paper, writing a song, cooking, painting, dancing, performing... Whatever creative way you find way to slow down, we need more moments to breathe, contemplate, revisit, and consider more deeply. I'm curious how you find your refuge for reflection and reconnection? (This clip is taken from a recent interview with Royal Society Of Portrait Painters at Mall Galleries / Federation of British Artists, where I exhibited my painting, Light In The Well Of Shadows"). #art #philosophy #AI #culture #wellbeing #creativity #music
