"Leadership is not about being the best; it's about making everyone else better." In a room filled with 85 eager minds, Protosem challenged us to step up. Split into 17 teams, each with a unique problem to solve, we needed leaders—visionaries—who could guide their groups through this journey. Among 37 hopefuls, only 17 would be chosen. Our method to filter the leaders was intense: debates, arguments, and the strength of our convictions. The process tested our mettle as emotions soared and strategies evolved. A voting system ensured only those who earned the trust of their peers remained, and the results of these rigorous discussions led to the final 17 visionaries by Day 2. Becoming a visionary was about embracing challenge, listening sharply, and adapting swiftly. The experience taught me that real leadership thrives in uncertainty, where each decision can shift the direction of a team. Moving forward, these insights will drive my approach to leading projects—prioritizing resilience, clear communication, and the willingness to navigate ambiguity.
