The Jersey Farming Conference 2024 took place today, organised by Farm Jersey with funding from the Government of Jersey and sponsors Jersey Water, Evelyn Partners and Normans Agriculture. The conference is a key event in the Jersey agricultural calendar to bring the farming industry, government, and experts together to discuss key topics and identify opportunities for the future. Our CEO, Alex Bartlett, was invited to talk at the conference following our acquisition of the Jersey Royal Company in spring this year. Alex spoke of Albert Bartlett’s heritage and the shape of our new Jersey Royal business as we integrate AB Jersey and JRC. He also outlined our plans and hopes for the future of growing on Jersey and our marketing activity for the 2025 season. Following his presentation, Alex was joined on stage by Deputy Kirsten Morel to present the prizes for our 2024 Jersey Royal Growers Cover Crop Competition.
