Consistency is the key to success in any wellness journey. Today, I want to talk about the power of routine and how it has helped me stay committed to my health goals with ASEA. In our busy lives, it can be easy to let wellness slip down the priority list. But I’ve found that establishing a simple, consistent routine has made all the difference in maintaining my health and well-being. With ASEA, I’ve created a daily routine that’s easy to follow and effective in supporting my overall wellness. One of the things I appreciate most about ASEA is how seamlessly it integrates into my everyday life. Breathe. Relax. Repeat. It's Day 3 of our 30 days wellness challenge🥳 We're making progress💃 And today is Wellness Wednesday! You have definitely heard of wellness a lot in recent times. Wellness has ancient roots, and is defined by The Global Wellness Institute as "the active pursuit of activities, choices and lifestyles that lead to a state of holistic health." Emphasis is on 'active pursuit' and 'holistic health' Active pursuit means that practicing wellness is being intentional about your health choices in the pursuit of an optimal state of health. Holistic health means that wellness is all encompassing. It's more than just your physical health. It also includes your mental, spiritual, emotional, social and environmental health. 📌In simpler terms, wellness is being aware and actively pursuing an optimal state of overall health by making intentional choices. Wellness is an individual pursuit, meaning that youre responsible for your choices, lifestyle and behaviours. Today's takeaway: 👉 Drink more water today than you would usually do, especially if you're not a fan of water. Don't wait till you're thirsty. 👉 Say "no" when you need to. Each time you say yes to tasks or requests you really don't want to do, you're saying no to yourself. People will be fine. 👉 Reduce your screen time today. Yes, I know it might be hard, but 30 minutes or 1 hour less can help you to: think and reflect, actually connect with a loved one, sleep for a little more time. The real world is around you, not on your screen. 👉 Breathe deeply as many times as you can (slowly inhale through your nose, hold for 2 to 3 seconds, and slowly exhale through your mouth). After This, You’ll Start Hating Wellness. Wellness is often portrayed as a peaceful and relaxing journey. A journey that’s filled with calm meditation sessions, perfectly balanced meals, and effortless workouts. But those who actually practice wellness know there’s another side to the story. The side that’s filled with challenges and harsh truths. So, here are five truths that you should know before jumping into the world of wellness: 🔴 You Will Never Achieve Perfection. Never! Even after years of dedication, you will never achieve perfection. There will always be room for improvement, moments of doubt, and occasional setbacks. After all, the pursuit of wellness is a lifelong journey, not a destination. 🔴 Wellness is not Glamorous at all. Wellness demands sacrifices. No doubts here! It means waking up early for a run, saying no to late-night gatherings, or choosing a salad over comfort food. These sacrifices are the price for a healthier self. 🔴 Progress is Painfully Slow We live in an era of instant gratification, but wellness doesn’t play by those rules. The changes are so slow, that it’s difficult to recognise if there’s any change at all. It can be heartbreaking to see very little immediate results. Progress may be slow, but it’s steady and lasting. 🔴 There’s No Universal Solution Wellness is not one-size-fits-all. What works wonders for one person might not work for another. This can be disheartening, especially when you’re trying hard and yet, someone else’s routine doesn’t fit. Wellness is intensely personal, requiring patience to find what works for you. 🔴 Practicing Wellness Can Be Expensive From organic groceries to gym memberships and wellness retreats, the costs can add up quickly. The financial investment can be scary. But remember that investing in your health is the best investment you can make. So my friends, the journey to wellness is not for the faint-hearted. It’s filled with trials, sacrifices, and slow progress. But trust me when you experience peace in the journey, every hardship will seem, Absolutely WORTH IT. #Wellness #HarshTruths
