I’m so excited to share this conversation I had with Chris Hayes about care with all of you. This week’s Why Is This Happening Pod goes deep on why care is such a struggle, and why change is not only possible, it’s on its way. I really enjoyed this one and I think you will too. Give it a listen, I’d love to know what you think. And pass it on. ❤️ https://lnkd.in/gX7mzUXe

I listened last week as I was preparing my talk for the global Carework summit. It was such a good conversation! I loved it. (And also appreciated all the affirmations I saw in the audience when I named you and your work!) ❤️

1yAi-jen Poo This is such an important topic. Having been a family caregiver for my aging parents for 14 years, I'm so glad to see you raise awareness on this critical topic. "Care" is so often thought of as "child care" and we need more visibility to care for our aging population. With 10,000 Americans turning 65 every day and 1 out of 9 Americans over 65 being diagnosed with Alzheimer's, THANK YOU for helping bring care for the aging population to light! We need to accelerate action.
