Time, friends, and kin, gifts so rare, Inherit we, with naught a care, Bestowed on us without a fee, True treasures shared so gracefully. Time ticks away, each moment flies, A fleeting whisper, a gentle sigh, Its worth we miss, its gold unseen, Until it’s gone, like a dream. Friends stand by, through thick and thin, Their laughter, comfort, warmth within, Yet often do we fail to see, Their true value, their loyalty. Relatives, our ties that bind, Shared stories, roots intertwined, We take for granted, love so deep, Until we part, and then we weep. For time, once lost, cannot return, Its lessons, harsh, we slowly learn, And friends, when gone, leave empty space, A void no other can replace. Relatives, with bonds so strong, Their absence feels a silent song, We realize, too late, their worth, Their presence, joy upon this earth. So cherish time, hold friends so near, Embrace your kin, both far and near, For priceless are these gifts we share, And once they’re gone, beyond compare.
