🌾 Today, as we honor the legacy of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, let's reflect on his visionary thoughts that continue to resonate in our agricultural landscape. Dr. Ambedkar recognized the vital role of agriculture in India's development. He astutely argued that the productivity of agriculture hinges not solely on the labor and capital of individual farmers but significantly on the scale of operations. Amidst challenges like the British ryotwari system, where landlords bore burdensome rent responsibilities or faced eviction, Dr. Ambedkar emphasized the need for a paradigm shift towards cooperative farming. He advocated for the adoption of cooperative farming, foreseeing its potential to address the inefficiencies inherent in small-scale farming. Dr. Ambedkar's insights underscored the transformative impact of cooperative models in boosting agricultural output and fostering rural development. On this occasion, let's reaffirm our commitment to Dr. Ambedkar's vision by promoting sustainable agricultural practices and embracing cooperative farming initiatives. Together, we can empower our rural communities and cultivate a prosperous future for Indian agriculture. #BabasahebAmbedkar #Agriculture #RuralDevelopment #CooperativeFarming

"Such initiatives are essential for Uttar Pradesh, given that it is home to the largest population in India. With a population of 250 million, Uttar Pradesh accounts for 17% of the nation's total population. Despite possessing only 11% of the country's agricultural land, the state contributes over 20% of India’s food production. However, the potential for growth remains vast... I firmly believe that, whether in agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, or the dairy sector, Uttar Pradesh has already achieved significant success in boosting production through digital agriculture and the use of technology. With further advancements, we have the capability to increase our output by three to four times..." #UPCM Yogi Adityanath #KisanKalyanUP CII AgroTech India- Krishi Bharat
