𝐀𝐠𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐌𝐁𝐬: 𝐀 𝐑𝐞𝐝-𝐇𝐨𝐭 𝐓𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐜! Last week, I published a post about Agile for SMBs as a Blue Ocean strategy. I asked if anyone would be interested in a webinar to delve deeper into this topic. The response was overwhelming, with over 16,000 views and about 100 messages from people eager to participate. I expected this topic to generate less interest! 🤷♀️ I have just 100 spots available, and next week, I will share my personal experience with applying Agile in small and medium-sized organizations. 👩💻 If you're interested, you are welcome to join. I hope you secure your spot. Here is the link to the event: https://lnkd.in/dbAvJJfr

Please join us on June 11 for a special edition of the Scrum Professionals Meetup: It doesn't have to be so hard!! How to get out of your own way and allow FLOW. Too often, we imagine that packing our lives tightly with measurable achievements is the path to success and happiness. However, as agilists, we already know that relentlessly prioritizing the time to reflect and improve is critically important for both sustainability and maximum effectiveness. We know that in order to help our teams improve, we have to work on ourselves as well. Why is it so hard for us to walk the talk? You've probably heard people talk about the flow of value through a delivery system. There is another type of Flow: an optimal state of consciousness where we are highly engaged, focused, productive, and blissful. The Flow state amplifies learning, motivation and creativity, all core competencies necessary for thriving in a world of radical change. In this session, you'll learn how to apply agile practices in your own life to increase the time you spend in Flow, as well as tools to help you turn self-sabotage into self-compassion. Register below. https://lnkd.in/esCCt9nZ #ScrumProfessionals #Meetup #AgilePractices

Tomorrow, in the new issue of Learn Agile Practices newsletter ⬇️ Are we sure that going async with the Daily Stand-up is a good idea? 🤔 The Daily Stand-up is one of the most used (and abused) among all the Agile practices, and it has been misinterpreted and misused for a lot of years (the usual example is that it becomes an update meeting) - and now that working remotely has become very common, a lot of tools that implement an “async” stand-up are used by a lot of teams, adding another misuse of the practice. Today, I will try to describe what purpose such meetings are supposed to achieve, and why they are important, going back to what I think is one of the most underestimated objectives of Agile: collaboration! Hello NYC, I just scheduled an in-person Agile Kata Pro training, held in-person in New York City (midtown) on June 5th. We will need 8 or more participants to make this interactive class really, really fun. I have been teaching folks from the tri-state area in the Agile Kata mainly online for the past 12 months, so this is an experiment to bring a group back together in person again. Interested in learning a new skill? Register below. Once we have 8, I will confirm and share more logistical details. And yes, the first 8 participant will enjoy a discounted rate as a thank you for their early commitment. Learn the Agile Kata, a universal pattern to increase agility on an organizational or in your team. For example spark new energy in your #scrum team, your #agiletransformation, or to improve #businessagility. The list of possible use cases is constantly growing. Who is this class for? Leaders, engineers, coaches, scrum masters, or any change agent in an organization. Each participant will be invited to take the online assessment a few days after class completion. #agilekata #agilecoach #agile #scrummaster #changemanagement #agileleader #agile https://lnkd.in/ePkB43-4
