48 hours in DC with the FXG Partners team as we sprint to the 2024 finish line! Lots of great conversations with current and prospective clients (love those teams getting a head start on 2025 priorities). In between meetings, I found myself back where it all started. In 2003, I walked through the doors of 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue for my first interviews with CEB, now Gartner. Eileen Silvergleid and Christian Conti (he/him) kindly took a chance on a young professional and opened the door to what would be nearly 15 years of professional growth and adventure. The seeds that would eventually grow into FXG Partners were also planted that day as I joined a community with a unique zeal for knowledge and service. Or as Melody Jones, NACD.DC would say ... "smart and nice". Special shout out to all the #CEBalumni out there working hard in the final days of the "most wonderful time of the year".
Andrew Blaisdell, I was always more of a "unique zeal" guy than a "smart and nice" guy -- this is probably why I had comms report to you :). And luckily we had Melody Jones, NACD.DC, Christian Conti (he/him), Eileen Silvergleid, and so many other exceptional colleagues around us to protect us from our worst selves. And given the season, our worst elves, too, I suspect.
“Smart & nice” forever! 🙌
Do I qualify as a CEB Adjunct Alum?
2000 Penn is where I started my career!
Agreed
Bravo Andrew-what an alumni community indeed.
Proud to have you in my talent tree as Leslie Cruz would say!
Independent Board Director; Executive Assessment and Coaching
1wWhere did 20 years go?? When I think about all of the CEB alumni who are out in nature doing amazing things, it just reinforces what a unique company we created and how special it truly was. I'd love to give a shout out to everyone who comes to mind, but the list would end up being 150 names long. Happy holidays go all, and here's to a fabulous 2025!
