From the moment you step inside an aircraft, the safety of every passenger is of paramount importance. Before takeoff, the cabin crew meticulously checked all safety equipment, including seatbelts, oxygen masks, life vests, and emergency exits. The cabin crew undergo rigorous training to prepare for any emergencies, from medical emergencies to evacuations, and fire incidents. Once onboard, passengers are given a comprehensive safety briefing, which includes an overview of the aircraft's layout and instructions on how to fasten seatbelts, locate emergency exits, and use safety equipment in case of an emergency. The cabin crew is always alert and vigilant throughout the flight, monitoring the cabin for any potential hazards and ensuring that passengers are comfortable and safe. In the event of an emergency, the cabin crew are trained professionals who can react swiftly and efficiently, guiding passengers to safety and ensuring a calm and orderly evacuation. From mechanical failures to loss of cabin pressure, their quick thinking and calm demeanour are essential in maintaining order and prioritising passenger safety during stressful situations. The aviation authorities, CAAS, set strict regulations and standards for cabin safety in aeroplanes, and airlines undergo regular inspections to ensure compliance with these standards. By prioritising safety and adhering to these regulations, airlines strive to provide passengers with an exciting, secure, and comfortable travel experience, instilling confidence in the safety of air travel worldwide. So, fasten your seatbelts and get ready for a thrilling and safe journey in the skies! #safetyfirst #safetyisgoodbusiness #flying #cabincrewtraining #cabincrew

Although injuries were reported, but this could have turned 𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘤 if ground crew were nearby or if other safety measures had failed. Aircraft rollback is a 𝙙𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙨 scenario that can occur when parking brakes are not engaged properly, chocks are not in place, or there is a system malfunction. 👷👷♀️ For ground crew operating around aircraft, this can present significant 𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙠𝙨, especially during critical operations like fueling, unloading, or maintenance. ‼️ This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of strict adherence to 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝘀: • Ensuring 𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 are set and verified after parking. • Properly placing 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀 as a secondary safety measure. • Maintaining constant 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 between cockpit crew and ground staff. On September 1, 2024, a Malaysia Airlines Airbus A330-300, operating as flight MH66, experienced an unexpected turn of events shortly after departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) en route to Incheon Airport in Seoul, South Korea. This incident has drawn significant attention due to the nature of the emergency and the swift actions taken by the flight crew. Flight MH66 took off from KLIA just after midnight, but the journey was cut short when the aircraft was forced to return to Kuala Lumpur approximately 85 minutes later. According to reports, the aircraft encountered hydraulic problems shortly after takeoff. Additionally, the transponder, which is crucial for tracking the aircraft's altitude, continued to display an altitude of 0 feet even after the plane had become airborne. Upon identifying the issues, the flight crew made the critical decision to level off and enter a holding pattern to burn off fuel, ensuring a safer landing. This maneuver is a standard procedure in aviation to reduce the aircraft's weight before landing, minimizing the risk of complications. The aircraft landed safely back at KLIA on runway 14L, and no injuries were reported among the passengers and crew. #Airport #Airline #Malaysia #MalaysianAirlines #A330 #UTurn #AviationIndustry #AviationOasis https://lnkd.in/emywRz8t

Reaching the Peak of Passenger Satisfaction💯 How should cabin crews remain professional during in-flight service?✈️✈️ Cabin crews should maintain a high level of professionalism during in-flight service to ensure passenger satisfaction and safety. 👀👀... Appearance and Attitude 👥 Cabin crew members should wear neat and clean uniforms that meet company standards. I recently experienced a safety concern on a flight from Rome to Cairo. The pre-flight safety briefing was not conducted for a significant number of A, B, and C seats because the in-flight entertainment screens (IFE) were not functioning, leaving passengers uninformed about vital safety procedures. These safety briefings are mandated by international safety bodies such as ICAO. When technical equipment fails, operational procedures must compensate, such as the traditional safety presentation conducted by the cabin crew. Why did the cabin crew ignore the technical malfunction and not proceed with the manual safety briefing? However, in this instance, as a safety manager, when I attempted to report the malfunctioning screens, my call light was ignored by the cabin crew. Final considerations: 1. Passenger safety must never be compromised. 2. The cabin crew should receive refresher training on procedures in case of technical malfunctions. 3. Flying on an aircraft with malfunctioning electronics undermines passenger trust and comfort, already compromised by a dirty plane from the start of the journey. #PassengerSafety #AirlineAccountability #SafetyFirst P.S.: these observations have been already reported to the airline
