Reflecting on AI in supply chain management, I realized the importance of trust in its adoption. It's not just about the capabilities of the technology, but more about the assurance users have in the outcomes it delivers. What can we do to foster this trust? Implementing Explainable AI (XAI), focusing on data quality, instilling rigorous data governance, emphasizing capability and reliability, measuring and improving accuracy, ensuring consistency, and concentrating on decision quality are all vital steps. What's your experience with building trust in AI for supply chain management?

"Organizations are just jumping in and not setting a strategic plan to integrate AI into their organization thoughtfully,” Stoyanovich adds. “It is not only appropriate, but probably a boon, to actually take a pause, take a deep breath, straighten your back, and then put place a quick strategic plan.”

Great article Tom Davenport! Couldn't agree more... "Organizations without a strong process orientation may have difficulty getting started. In that case it may be best to focus initially on one or two processes that are critical to performance and address the rest as the organization becomes more used to process thinking."
New article in the forthcoming HBR Jan-Feb print edition with Tom Redman on "How to Marry Process Management and AI," about how AI can help with all phases of process management. We think that process management is coming back into fashion--in part revitalized by AI. Do you agree? https://lnkd.in/ePQpeumA

"Executives need to think broadly about how people, data, technology, AI, and analytics come together to improve business performance. Process needs to lie at the core. After all, it’s through processes that organizations deliver value. It’s time for senior managers to put process back on their radar screens and begin to sort out how to make it better in their departments." Another excellent feature by Tom Davenport and Tom Redman. https://lnkd.in/eB6KPJ_a
