Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is one of the most significant festivals in Hinduism, celebrated by millions worldwide. Let’s look at its intra-religious meaning. There is a lot of value in it. It symbolises the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil 👆🏻. The festival lasts for five days, with the third day being the main celebration. Spiritual Essence of Diwali: 🌠 Victory of Light: Diwali symbolises the triumph of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance, encouraging individuals to seek enlightenment and inner wisdom. 🌺 Inner Renewal: The festival signifies a time for personal reflection and renewal, inviting people to let go of negative thoughts and embrace positive changes in their lives. 🎉 Unity and Community: Diwali fosters connection and unity among families and communities. It encourages people to come together, celebrate, and strengthen their relationships through shared rituals and festivities. 👐 Gratitude and Generosity: The festival highlights the importance of gratitude for one’s blessings and encourages acts of kindness, charity, and generosity toward those in need. 📚 Cultural Heritage: Diwali is rooted in various mythological stories, such as the return of Lord Rama to Ayodhya, which emphasises moral values, righteousness, and the importance of dharma (duty). 🕊️ Meditation and Spiritual Practices: Many people engage in meditation, prayer, and spiritual rituals during Diwali, seeking inner peace, harmony, and a deeper connection with the divine. 🎆 Diwali Ghar Wali: Finding Success Where It Matters Most! 🎆 Diwali always feels like home. It’s a reminder that true success isn’t in the fancy titles or bigger paychecks, it’s in finding fulfillment where it counts. 🌟 In our careers, we often chase “big” goals, hoping they’ll bring us happiness. But sometimes, real satisfaction comes from knowing we're making a difference, right where we are. Here’s what I’ve learned: 1️⃣ Embrace small wins: Big goals are great, but progress often happens in small steps. Celebrate them. 2️⃣ Prioritize what matters: Find joy in the journey, not just the destination. 3️⃣ Stay connected to purpose: Like Diwali brings warmth to our homes, connect with people who make your work feel meaningful. This Diwali, let’s redefine success. Not by what we achieve but by the joy we create along the way. 🪔 HAPPY DIWALI 🪔 #diwali #festival #celebrate #success

As the Diwali festivities commence, Dhanteras is celebrated as the first day of this vibrant five-day festival, observed this year today! This Dhanteras, I’m choosing to invest in me and soak in the light around me 💗 With Diwali here, I’m stepping away from the hustle for a while to simply be present. In a world that’s always nudging us to do more, it feels empowering to take a pause. We’re often taught that being busy defines our value. But here’s a little reminder ↴ Work may be important, but no one else can fill your place in the lives of those you love. Your presence, your warmth, your laughter—these things can’t be replaced 🥹 Choosing time with loved ones over endless tasks isn’t just a break; it’s honoring what truly matters. Real happiness and abundance don’t come from our bank balances but from the memories we create, the love we share, and the energy we restore. So, as we celebrate Dhanteras, let’s pick presence over productivity. Let’s give ourselves permission to rest, to connect, to simply be. For the next few days, I’ll be stepping back from work to recharge and make the most of these special moments. Wishing you all a Dhanteras filled with peace, joy, and beautiful memories. Let’s remember that while work will always be there, the time we spend with loved ones is what truly makes us rich ✨ #dhanteras #diwali #diwalibreak #holisticcareercoach

As the results are out; a day before Diwali. While many of you are celebrating, I know that for some, today brings a different kind of opinion. To everyone who passed—𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒! You’ve worked hard, celebrate every bit of this moment. You deserve it! And to those who didn’t make it through this time—𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘦, 𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦. But let me tell you this, 𝐂𝐀 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮. Today may not be your day, but that doesn’t define your journey. This result isn’t the end; it’s just a chapter. Don’t let one result take away your Diwali spirit. Take a pause, enjoy the festival, and let the warmth of Diwali be a reminder of new beginnings and brighter days ahead. Remember, CA is one of the toughest journeys out there. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵. So, light that diya tomorrow not just for Diwali but for your inner strength, your dedication, and your dreams. Keep going, because that's the only way to move forward. Wishing everyone strength, peace, and a Diwali filled with light and hope. And Happy Choti Diwali to you all. P.S: Last year, during Diwali I remember myself engaged in book so deeply that I had no time to see what is happening around. Not celebrating it a bit with happiness because of the stress of exams. But when I recall that part, It makes me smile that everything happens for a reason. So, Let’s not loose hope even for a single moment. #CAResults #Resilience #DiwaliHope #KeepGoing #Diwali #StrengthInJourney #ICAI #CAFoundation #CAIntermediate

38% people felt stressed and lonely on Diwali last year I also felt bad when I saw people attending Diwali parties all dressed up on social media. I realized "wow, I don't have any party to attend" If you’re: -Unable to fly home -Having the FOMO -Craving connection but feeling isolated You’re not alone. Here're 5 tips to help: 1/ Celebrate alone Journal, mandala coloring, rangoli - you name it. Dress up just for you! 2/ Talk to new people at office, on walks, wherever. Ask them what they did for Diwali. 3/ Schedule self-care Skin care, exercise, reading, a little extra meditation. There's so much you can do for your benefit. 4/ Rediscover Diwali's Traditions Learn online the meaning of Diwali, the religious, spiritual significance. 5/ Time for reflection → Is your loneliness chronic or a one-off? → What do you really want? (Partner, family, pet etc) Connection is the solution. Connect with your deeper self, family, friends and the higher power. Happy Diwali 💛

As we celebrate Diwali once again this year, the familiar joy and excitement fill the air—but so does the growing focus on material things. We've spent more on expensive clothes, invited more friends, and exchanged bigger, fancier gifts. But amidst all this sparkle, have we ever stopped to ask ourselves—do these material things really make us happy? Or is it the true meaning of the festival that brings real joy to our hearts? Diwali isn’t about material wealth. At its core, the festival carries a much deeper message. In Hinduism, Diwali celebrates the return of Lord Ram to his home—not because he gained a kingdom, but because of the values and lessons his return teaches us. Similarly, in Jainism, Diwali honors Lord Mahavira's attainment of moksha, freedom from the cycle of life and death, which he achieved by letting go of material things and finding true inner peace. When we look at Diwali this way, it becomes clear that the festival is about more than just materialism. It's about true happiness, peace of mind, and the sense of fulfillment that comes from living a content life—not from gathering more possessions.
