Okta: The gift that just keeps on giving (grief during an upgrade) A story of the past few months..... First I want to say, "***Thank You***" to the Okta support teams in US and Romania. They are world class. They have help me tremendously in getting issues resolved super fast. We had a project to upgrade multiple instances of Okta tenants from "Classic" to OIE. With immense planning, checklists and testing stuff still messed up. Partly because Okta itself is changing the product every month which has subtle twists and turns. Partly because I am not an Okta expert ( who RTFM's). Moral of the story, make sure you have your sales support team email handly. Have Okta's 1-800 number!!!! (was a life saver because we could not open cases online having messed up our MFA config) Be ready with some whiskey and painkiller and go forth and hit that OIE "upgrade button" God bless all the Okta admins in all the companies, I now feel your pain ;-)
