A list of 20 AI tips from one of the world's most recognized AI expert (Behshad Behzadi, CTO and Chief AI Officer of Sportradar, ex-Google). My top 3: 7) Learn from other success stories—no need to reinvent the wheel! 13) Don’t treat AI like a hammer, assuming every problem is a nail. 14) Focus on the problems first, not the technology. Go for the longer list - worth the time.
Last week at Tech Leadership Summit I spoke on "How to steer your company through the AI Revolution" and on the panel "How Tech Executives shape organisational success". Some of the points I mentioned in my talk on how to maximize the chance of winning in this GenAI era were: 1) Assign a clear AI/GenAI leader within the company. 2) Ensure senior executive sponsorship (or direct involvement). 3) Develop a clear AI vision and strategy. 4) Foster a culture of innovation. 5) Avoid doing too many GenAI initiatives at the same time. 6) Don’t focus solely on quick wins—bigger bets are necessary too! 7) Learn from other success stories—no need to reinvent the wheel! 8) Both use AI (e.g., copilots) and build with AI. 9) Build the right products (e.g., chatbots aren’t always the solution). 10) Be aware of the limitations of LLM models. 11) Educate and support employees in AI adoption. 12) Keep an eye on LLM costs, but don’t obsess over them (they will decrease over time). 13) Don’t treat AI like a hammer, assuming every problem is a nail. 14) Focus on the problems first, not the technology. 15) Stay attuned to trends—this is one of the fastest-changing revolutions, and the best solutions evolve rapidly. 16) Don’t overlook testability, debuggability, extensibility, and explainability. 17) Experiment, and fail fast—learn quickly. 18) It's best to have a small, strong core GenAI team. 19) Rationalize what you're building in-house, what you're buying, and what you're partnering to create. 20) Never over-promise! and on the Tech Executive panel together with Georgine Roesle and Adrian Zwingli we talked about the importance of personality traits of a tech executive to lead organisations successfully. You want your tech executives to be: (a) Visionary and creative (b) Inspirational and motivational (c) Great in communication (d) Building relationship (e) Decisive and confident (f) Empathic and great with people #techleadershipsummit #tls24 #pmf24 #AI #genai #leadership #techleadership

1moYour top three seem like the ones that will get the biggest impact Adrian Zwingli. A lot of folks surf the wave of hype, without starting with the jobs their organisation needs to get done, and how the tech can get there better. The humility to use others‘ learning curves is arguably the best cost saver around.
