As fall approaches, the world is shifting in subtle ways. There is a time of reflection and change. Nature seems to be preparing for rest, shedding what it no longer needs. In much the same way, our life has its seasons of transition. We all stumble at times, facing setbacks that knock us off our path. These moments can feel unexpected and jarring, leaving us uncertain of how to move forward. But just as the trees let go of their leaves, knowing that spring will bring new growth, we too have the capacity to rise and let go after a fall. The act of getting back up is an essential part of life’s rhythm, much like the shift from one season to the next. Every stumble is an opportunity for renewal, a chance to gather ourselves, reflect on the experience, and move forward with greater strength. Fall reminds us that letting go is necessary for growth. The earth sheds its layers, preparing for the new, just as we must shed our old fears, doubts, or past failures to continue on our path. And just like the vibrant colors that emerge in autumn, there is beauty in every stage of life—even in the moments when we fall. Because after every shift or fall, there is always the promise of rising again. With each new season, we are reminded that change is natural, and resilience is within us all. #fall #getup #renew #leaves #rise #reflection #recruiter #mostinterestingrecruiter

Thanks, Andres E. Brillembourg, for sharing something that really made me laugh but also got me thinking. It’s a bit troubling that so many schools still focus heavily on memorization. They think it’s the key to academic and future success—good grades and great colleges. But what is the future our kids are walking into? It’s about more than just nailing tests. It’s filled with complex issues—climate, our ties to nature, and how we interact as a society. These aren’t just technical problems; they need creative solutions, new ways of thinking and understanding. That’s a big reason why we started [Not] Bored Games. We’re trying to shift the focus from memorizing to engaging—helping kids and their parents see that learning can be about creativity and expressing ideas in new ways. We hope to spark a bit of that shift through our games, making learning a dynamic and immersive experience. Every opportunity to encourage a shift toward creative thinking is a step in the right direction. We believe in learning that prepares us for tomorrow, not just the next exam.
