At the NVIDIA AI Summit '24, I got a fresh perspective on the evolution of AI in real-world applications. The Levels of AI model is a fascinating framework to understand where products stand today: Level 1: Manual Ops – No AI, purely human-powered. Level 2: Human-Centric AIOps – AI assists with insights but requires human decision-making. Example: Amazon's review summaries help us make buying decisions. Level 3: Machine-Centric AIOps – AI makes recommendations based on user input with minimal human intervention. Think Netflix suggesting titles based on our preferences. Level 4: Fully-Automated AIOps – AI handles it all. A prime example: driverless cars. Interestingly, most products today sit comfortably at Level 2. Moving from Level 2 to Level 3, however, is often more of a product decision than a leap in ML or accuracy. It requires rethinking the user experience and determining how much control to give AI vs. the user. The journey from assistive AI to more autonomous systems is one of trust, user experience, and strategic vision. Exciting times ahead! iMocha #AI #ProductManagement #AIOps #NvidiaAISummit

There's lots going on in the world of AI. Let me help you make sense of it 🙌 Here are 5 key events from last week 👇🔥 ☑️ Fei-Fei Li, renowned Computer Scientist known s 'godmother of AI', has created a Start-Up called 'World Labs'. Four months in, it's already valued at more than 1 Billion... ☑️ OpenAI release 'GPT-4o mini'. Aimed at being a more cost-effective alternative to GPT-4o, this new model will hopefully help companies utilize GPT without some of the crazy bills attached to it! 😁 ☑️ On the back of last year's FDA clearance, Huma announce an £80,000,000 raise. It's hoped this will help them roll out their cloud-based care platform 🦴👀 ☑️ Ants are the answer to autonomous robots? Well, a group of TU Delft researchers certainly think they might help. Think about how insects always find their way back home... 💭🤔 ☑️ NVIDIA seek to continue their dominance by unveiling new chip for the Chinese AI market. At the moment, it's hard to see how this giant will ever slow down 😅 And remember, follow #beyondthemodel to stay up to date with everything important, and for a reliable way to cut through the noise 👊🤛 Links in the comments! 👇

Thank you, Dr. Ayesha Khanna, for yesterday's insightful "AI in April" Chief session on the intertwining of AI readiness, innovation, and ethics. Even at 9 pm EDT, it was worth tuning in! Sharing a few news highlights we discussed you may have missed: 1. Ready to be a passenger in an AI-driven vehicle? We were split on this one. Tesla plans to unveil its Robotaxi on August 8th, featuring "supervised full self-driving." A bit of a branding irony in my opinion, sounds "almost full" to me. 2. Adobe is rallying for videos of everyday moments to power up its AI text-to-video generator and keep pace with rivals, offering $3 to $7 per video minute—an everyday moment that immediately came to mind: navigating the mishaps of mute buttons and screen sharing. 3. OpenAI is cooking up something big with GPT-5, expected to debut with more advanced reasoning capabilities this summer. What lies ahead? AI models communicating directly with other AI models to complete tasks like booking reservations on OpenTable without human intervention. 4. AI has stirred up déjà vu in the music industry, reminiscent of the Napster saga. Over 200 artists have signed a letter urging AI developers, tech firms, and digital platforms to safeguard their interests, citing concerns about utilizing their work to train AI models without compensation. 5. The era of the CAIO or CDAIO is on the horizon as organizations recognize the need for dedicated leadership. #AIEthics #AIReadiness #AIInnovation #AdobeAI #ArtistsRights #Tesla #Robotaxi #SelfDriving #GPT5 #OpenAI

Module 6, Day 1 & 2: Bringing AI & ML to Life with Practical Implementations I'm thrilled to share my latest learnings from Module 6 of my AI & ML journey! Today, I took my knowledge to the next level by implementing the Stable Diffusion model for image generation and the Tesla Model for object detection on Google Colab. I'm excited to share my practical experience with you! I used Google Colab to bring these models to life, and I've even recorded a video showcasing the results. In the video, you'll see how I used the Stable Diffusion model to generate high-quality images and the Tesla Model to detect objects in real-time. Here are some key takeaways from my practical implementation: Stable Diffusion: I successfully generated realistic images using this model, demonstrating its potential for applications in art, design, and more. Tesla Model: I implemented this model for object detection, achieving impressive results in detecting objects on a highway, including cars and pedestrians. Watch my video to see the models in action: [insert video link] #AI #ML #ComputerVision #ImageGeneration #ObjectDetection #TeslaModel #StableDiffusion #GoogleColab #PracticalImplementation #TechRecruiters #LinkedInGroups Feel free to share your thoughts, experiences, or questions in the comments below!

Microsoft, Nvidia, Amazon and Open AI as well as Ark investments go full robot mode. Smart agile robots. It all started with pouring a cup of coffee. Figure AI. They are working to setup automated retail workers, restaurant workers and warehouse workers. They state industry are not able to staff for these positions in a study…. I have no idea if that’s the case or the study is accurate. I’m not promoting human displacement just keeping people aware… They raised 675 million at 2 billion valuation. These new models again work off RLHF but in virtual sims again. This is basically a giant customer for Microsoft compute as well as Amazon. https://lnkd.in/g3bwCWzb

How to Improve Transparency in Blackbox AI Models. Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionized numerous industries by offering solutions that range from autonomous vehicles to healthcare diagnostics and financial predictions. However, many AI models, intense learning models, operate as "black boxes," making decisions in ways that are not easily interpretable by humans. This lack of transparency raises concerns regarding accountability, trust, and ethical implications, especially when these models are deployed in critical areas such as healthcare, criminal justice, and finance. Improving the transparency of blackbox AI models is essential to fostering trust, ensuring fairness, and enabling meaningful human oversight. https://lnkd.in/dU5UPC3e
