It’s that time of year again where I like to suit up, reflect and take stock (pun very much intended). And if I had to sum up autone in one word this year? Empathy. 2024 was huge for us—AI everywhere, $17M Series A funding, and watching some of the world’s biggest retail brands grow their business with our solution. But none of that would have happened at the pace and scale it did if it wasn't for our founding principle. When Harry Glucksmann Cheslaw and I started autone, we didn’t want to build just another tool. We’d lived the retail grind—the last minute scrambles, the wasted stock, the spreadsheet chaos—and we knew that stress firsthand. And that’s exactly why autone is built differently; every feature, every line of code, every decision is built to ease the load and make life simpler for all the retail superheroes out there doing the grunt work. Because recognizing the human element—the stress, the victories—is as critical as any data point. For us, building in empathy means one thing: simplification. Everything we do boils down to one goal: customer happiness. And when I say customer, I mean everyone—from the merchandiser making last-minute changes to the accountant who runs the numbers on using autone. Everyone. Happy. That's what allows us to unlock a unique path forward. Because retail isn't an easy industry to change, especially if you're using old tactics. But we'll continue the good fight. Here's to another year of empathy-driven solutions.
