It's getting harder to tell what's real. This video is a perfect example. Fully AI-generated, yet it looks hyper-realistic. Tools used: • Flux1 for generating lifelike images • KlingAI for animating those images into video The prompt was simple: "Girls talking to each other and to the camera." This showcases the incredible capabilities of AI, but it also raises questions. How do we discern authenticity in a world where everything can be simulated? Here are a few insights to help navigate this landscape: 1. Invest in understanding AI tools. 2. Embrace the advancements, but remain critical of their implications. 3. Foster discussions about digital authenticity. With AI, we are not just consumers of technology; we are part of the conversation that shapes its future. There are many tells. AI still can't check itself to see if it follows the laws of reality. It still morphs certain things. Mouth movements, hands, grammar/comma placement.
If you look at the hand movement, it's still noticeable, but in 3-4 years it will probably be completely unrecognizable🧐
Interesting to me is that AI doesn't seem to do normal, average looking people or with interesting features. That might be our only way to recognise it in the future.
AI blurs reality's lines. Adhiraj H.
Damn I didn't realize until I read the caption! the line is really a blur
More like how do we assign value to others if they don’t exist.? The answer is already here. The last 25 years of networked virtual social media shows us how we interact if behind the black mirror. It’s not been pretty, even when one’s selfie was taken from the right angle and used the coolest free filters. AI as a medium must be kept far away from social and entertainment uses. Too bad we never learn from histories most important lessons.
This is what concerns me the most. Think of where this particular capability will be in ten years. How will anyone be able to tell if a video is real or fabricated. If you were a jury member and you were given a video of someone committing a crime, would you know if it's AI or an actual video? I love AI, but there is so much downside, it's kind of scary at the same time.
It’s actually really easy to tell they are not real - have you ever seen a piece of A4 writing paper move like that? Physics never lies lol

1wThey look very real to me. How can one tell they are not real? What difference does it make whether they are real or not?? -- I humbly wonder.
