Coming up on 10 years at Simantel, I've seen some "look-and-feel" changes but never a brand push like this. It's been a one-of-a-kind experience helping with a brand launch like this... so of course, a few thoughts: (1) There's no way to avoid a lot of cooks in the kitchen. Everyone cares. Because when you're branding for your own brand... everyone's a client, a strategist, a creative and an expert. (2) For all those reasons, everyone's also a critic. It's anything but smooth sailing. There's differences in perspective, opinion and the tiniest details. And again, because people care... arguably too much. But that's a good "problem" at work. And I'm proud that's almost always the kind teams wrestle with at Simantel. (3) When everyone cares, and it's far from smooth sailing, it only raises the stakes for branding to hit the mark: for it to feel like you, to capture who you've been and lead out to where you're going. And hats off to so many people at Simantel who worked hard to make that happen with our new position: The agency of AND. To me, it's the momentum of working together. Connecting. Creating. From my first day in 2014, I've seen first-hand that Simantel isn't one face, one voice, one client or one department. There's a differentiator and a pride in the 'and' of it all. But even knowing it all along, it's been fascinating to see that unspoken idea come alive in words, visuals, testimonials, even workflow process and service line offerings. It's a story of teaming up with each other, and with our clients (who make it all possible). And it's a story that by nature of 'and' — should continue to unfold.
