We want to increase opportunities for disabled people in sport and fitness. On our website we have a 'jobs board' that lists paid and voluntary opportunities across organisations that focus on sport, leisure and fitness. New jobs are added every week and below are new ones this week. If you have an employment opportunity to promote, we would love to hear from you. Let's work together to increase job opportunities for disabled people. Submit a job using the form on our website: https://lnkd.in/eMBXGzfD

Many people undermine the importance of choosing a job that is closer to their hometowns even if it pays slightly less. I can personally vouch for these things, - Flexibility to attend family emergencies, parents' well-being and other events at home - You don't have to prepare your homecoming plans months in advance - Little to no cultural differences providing a sense of comfort and peace - Economical travel options - Ability to do to and fro when you are sick Choosing a job goes much beyond just the CTC. Make sure you do a comprehensive evaluation beforehand. #jobsearch #incentives #career #corporate #hometown #opportunity #salary

How to make an introvert run away from a job ad faster than Max Verstappen driving away from the rest of the grid: List socials as a job perk. Employers, please understand that you are working with different personalities that do not necessarily like or enjoy fun socials and I'm sure the majority of people (incl extroverts) would rather be given their birthday off than celebrated in the office with warm white wine and insufferable small talk around a desk. I always thought that perks and benefits should be tangible and bring value to all employees: private medical insurance, extra holidays beyond the standard 25, cycle to work scheme etc So sadly this perk does not make the cut and it feels like they were just trying to make the list appear longer thus more appealing to the applicants. What are your thoughts?

Lets talk... 🌟🌟🌟🌟Benefits🌟🌟🌟🌟 Now, I'm not talking about 'free tea and coffee' or 'your own work laptop 🙃' I'm talking...Benefit's that ACTUALLY benefit your life. Today in the post I received confirmation that my The AA Breakdown cover was renewing (I've been here almost a year! Mad right!? 😍) AA Breakdown cover is something that every single AA Employee is entitled too from their first day of employment, and not only that...your children are covered too. As a parent, one of my biggest fears is Alayna being in a car that has broken down on a busy road, or (not very) smart motorway, in a family member or friends car. The AA take away that worry, by covering her personally in any vehicle she gets into, with Breakdown Cover 🚗 . Not only that....up to 3 people in your household can be covered with breakdown cover, just from that 1 free benefit that The AA offers you in your employment. 🏡 Stress gone ✅ Car covered ✅ Money saved ✅ Now...that's only 1 of our benefits!? I haven't even started on enhanced maternity pay 👶, our benefits discount platform 💷 , 24/7 GP access 💉, discounted driving lessons 🚘I could go on.... So, if you're looking for an employer who doesn't just care about you, they care about your family as well...then please head to our careers page below ⬇

Everyone I know to me: With only 5 weeks left until the holiday shut down period, I think it's the perfect opportunity for job seekers (and everyone) to sit down and have a think about what you want your 2025 to look like. For so many, this year has been a bloody tough one so let's start setting ourselves up for strong close to 2024 and a 'fk yeah let's do it' 2025. ✨ Have a good think about your expectations and boundaries when it comes to work ✨ Ask yourself 'what is really important to me' and 'what am I not settling on next year? Is it real flexibility? A higher salary? Proper training and development? Do your values align with your current company/the company you want to join? Am I actually being valued for the work I do? ✨ If you haven't already, start those conversations with people in your industry. Grow your network with like-minded individuals (by the way, if you didn't already know, speaking to people who understand what you're going through and can relate is really nice. Just FYI) Back yourself, you've got this, now fk it, it's not too early so let's put the elf ears on if we want to. We deserve it 🤶
