Yes, I can almost smell the vacation time creeping in. 🌄 Time to unplug and recharge! However in order to prevent me coming back to chaos, I would like to be prepared and minimize the uncertainty. Here is what I do: 1. Plan ahead - schedule meetings and follow ups, fix times for certain tasks in my calendar. That is how I will have a structured first week and I won't forget anything. 2. Communicate with people who can cover me up. In this case Peter Kold . 🤝 3. Prioritize and don't overwork the week before vacation. This is important, as most will try to finish as many things as possible, thus overstress and burn out. So, vacation days won't be as we want them to be. I keep my pace and prioritize. Things I can postpone for after the holidays are not on my list. 4. And finally I unplug officially. I set a friendly automatic response to my email and turn off notifications. This is not helping me a lot as I am checking them anyways, but at least it reminds me that it is time to keep away.😁 What is your pre vacation practice? #recruitment #it #recruitmentpartner #summer
