Join us at ACS Fall in Denver, Colorado, from the 18th - to the 22nd. The team will be speaking on the topic ‘Precision modeling of cumulative pesticide exposure’. The Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA) requires the EPA to take into account “available evidence concerning the cumulative effects of such [pesticide] residues and other substances that have a common mechanism of toxicity”. We show how precision modeling enables industry to determine the safety of pesticide products, and regulators to create policies to mitigate risk to human health for new products or methods that enter the market. We've made some changes to the OSAC Standards Bulletin! Along with providing a monthly update on the forensic science standards moving through the OSAC Registry and standards development processes, it now contains implementation insights, OSAC news and upcoming events, and other standards-related information.  Check out the nine standards (seven published and two OSAC Proposed Standards) that have been added to the Registry this month.
