Your calculator gives Math ERROR when you ask it for arccos of —2 ? How about 2^i where i=√(—1) ? No problem o; e no mean say na fake. My calculator does the same. Does this really mean that these values and similar ones do not exist? Well, there was a time it was forgivable to think and say so. Here is a snippet from a session in our last Prep Course. This is a algebraic Math problem dealing with the hyperbola, the graph of a quadratic equation. Through this course, the students grew familiar with the test, learned important time-saving strategies and tactics, and took 4 practice tests and many more exercises and quizzes. I am going to be running another Prep Course, 8 weeks this time, that starts mid-July, in prep for the September ACT. The greatest benefit to this course is that it is live, not pre-recorded. Pre-recorded courses can be great for some students, but for others, a live course keeps them accountable to do the work, and they can get immediate feedback and ask all of their questions on the spot.
