"As nurses, we have a professional, ethical, and moral responsibility to provide the best care possible. The Fundamentals of Care Framework offers an opportunity to fulfill that obligation by focusing on the assessment of our work and outcomes within the components of the framework." https://lnkd.in/gTes9iZs

📢“Swedish Intensive Care Nurses’ Knowledge, Attitudes, and Views on Donation After Circulatory Death Before a National Implementation” A study conducted by Emilie Gripewall and colleagues, published in SAGE Open Nursing, investigates the knowledge, attitudes, and views of Swedish Intensive Care Nurses (ICNs) on Donation After Circulatory Death (DCD) before its national implementation. As the global demand for transplantable organs continues to rise, DCD offers a potential solution but introduces complex challenges in clinical practice. This cross-sectional mixed-method study involved 51 ICNs from four Swedish intensive care units and revealed critical insights into their preparedness for DCD. Perfusion Times advocates for content grounded in evidence-based medicine, drawing from prestigious academic journals open access peer-reviewed. #follow #PerfusionTimes #DonationAfterCirculatoryDeath #NursingResearch #SwedishHealthcare #IntensiveCareNursing #OrganDonation #CriticalCare #HealthcareAttitudes #NurseKnowledge #EndOfLifeCare #MedicalEthics #DCD
