Just like the #hospitalityindustry, the airline business also generates a huge amount of data – and the question of what to do with said data is a topic common to both. We always like to look outside the immediate hotel sector to see what others in the broader travel arena are doing, and today is no exception with the news from Air France-KLM. Their newly announced partnership with Google Cloud is an interesting one. With the goal of helping the airline group make better use of its data and generative artificial intelligence, there’ll be a strong focus on gaining a better understanding of passenger preferences, travel patterns and behaviours in order to offer more tailored services.
