Here’s some great advice from our partners Amazon on how to spot scams and stay safe in the knowledge that any messages you receive are genuine. 1. Visit the Message Centre under ‘Your Account’. Legitimate messages from Amazon will appear there. 2. Track the progress of deliveries via the ‘Your Orders’ page on the website and app. 3. Be wary of false urgency as scammers may try to persuade you to do what they’re asking. Be wary any time someone tries to convince you that you must act now. Tackling fraud is a joint effort. It is only through working together and protecting each other that we will beat the fraudsters. #scamawareness #scamadvice #fraudprevention #onlinescams

🚨 Beware I want to bring attention to an ongoing scam that I recently encountered. I'm not certain if Amazon is directly involved, but here’s what happened: Incident Date & Time: 14th July 2024, around 11:30 AM Details: I received a Cash on Delivery (COD) order in my sister’s name. As she was not home at the time, I assumed she had placed the order and paid ₹499. Upon her return, we opened the package only to find a black colour saree – an item she never ordered. We double-checked all our Amazon accounts, confirming no such order was placed from any of them. It became clear that this was a scam. It's not just about the money lost, but the audacity of these scammers stealing from the public so blatantly. Please stay vigilant and always double-check the details before accepting COD orders. If anyone from Amazon is reading this, please look into this incident. #ScamAlert #Amazon #ConsumerSafety #StayVigilant #ProtectConsumers
