Basic Manners! At the India’s International Movement to Unite Nations (I.I.M.U.N), I had the privilege of hearing from distinguished speakers such as Ajay Piramal, Shashi Tharoor, Adi Godrej, Shabana Azmi, and Boman Irani. While they all underscored the critical importance of education, a common thread in their messages was the essential role of soft skills. In a world where technical expertise is abundant, it’s the basic manners—the simple "please" and "thank you"—that set individuals apart. These soft skills are not just niceties; they are the backbone of effective communication, leadership, and success. I was at Amby Valley a few days back and was completely privileged to be part of the journey to meeting and mastering life lessons from some of India’s most powerful people.
