I loved serving my notice period at Adobe. It was the HARDEST and the best time of my career. A wave of emotions hit me but what I found was the BEST time of my career. I did have some fear of the unknown but here are 5 things I did to make it "transformative" and it paved my way to founding Hexaview Technologies Inc. 1) I showed up every day and talked to people I had never met before in the company. I worked twice as hard and probably made more connections during my notice period than I ever had. 2) I no longer had to worry about judgment so I started asking more questions, learning from everyone around me. This built not just knowledge, but confidence. 3) I openly discussed my skills beyond my work role and my interest in entrepreneurship with my colleagues and bosses. I was surprised at the number of stories they had to share with me too. 4) Leaving a company doesn't mean burning bridges. I explored contractual options with Adobe, keeping the door open for future collaboration. 5) I just showed my true self. Genuine connections with co-workers, even random conversations, built a powerful network of people who still root for me today. Looking back, my notice period at Adobe wasn't just about goodbyes. It was about laying the essential groundwork for Hexaview's future, fueled by exploration, genuine connection and personal growth. I realized that everybody goes through a notice period in their career, the question is how transformative you make it for yourself:) Ankit Agarwal Adobe #Founder #NoticePeriod #PersonalGrowth
