Be it LP’s or Angels, capital invested is hard earned and taxed money that is being put to work. Which is why investor relations is so important to build and manage, not like a CRM navigating a lead to a close and then done. The biggest question when considering raising funding is... When do you need cash in the bank? There are very few hacks. My first funding round took 9 months. Dont leave it too late, investors can sense the desperation. Fundraising usually takes months, and months and months. Its a process that requires intense prepartion, extentive outreach and constant iteration.
