SEO and meta descriptions: Everything you need to know in 2025 While it may seem like a small detail in the grander scheme of SEO, well-optimized metadata can make a significant difference in: Attracting clicks. Providing context to search engines. Enhancing your site’s overall user experience. The ideal length for a meta description is around 150-160 characters. Any longer and Google may truncate it. Although Google sometimes rewrites descriptions based on the search query, keeping yours within this limit ensures more control over how your page is presented.

Orphan Pages: Harmful Pages on Your Website Orphan pages are website pages that lack inbound and outbound links from other pages, also known as "lost" pages. They exist within a website but are disconnected from the rest of its content. The presence of orphan pages negatively impacts SEO performance and ranking for several reasons: 1. Indexing Issues: Search engines typically discover new pages by following links from indexed pages. Orphan pages, lacking inbound links, are often not indexed by search engines. 2. User Experience: Orphan pages worsen user experience by lacking connections to other pages and providing no further navigation options. Users encountering such pages often leave the site, increasing the bounce rate. 3. Inaccessible Content: Orphan pages may contain valuable content that becomes inaccessible to users if they cannot reach the page due to lack of links. These are just a few ways orphan pages can harm a website's overall performance, search engine ranking, and user convenience. It's important to note that the presence of orphan pages isn't always problematic and may be intentional for internal company purposes where indexing by search engines isn't necessary. However, if numerous orphan pages exist, they can adversely affect performance, warranting corrective action.

🚫Hello, friends! Today we're going to talk about what "noindex" is and why it's important for your website. So what is this animal and how does it affect your SEO? 🤔When we talk about "noindex", we mean an HTML meta tag that tells search engines, such as Google, not to index the content of a particular web page. This means that your page will not be included in the search results. ☝️Now, why might this be important? Well, there are several scenarios where you might need to use "noindex": 👀Unfinished Content: If your page has unfinished content or experimental data, you may want to exclude it from indexing until it's ready for public viewing. 🔐Confidential information: If your site contains confidential information that only a limited number of people should have access to, "noindex" will help prevent it from accidentally leaking through search engines. ❗️Duplicate Content: Sometimes you may have multiple pages with similar content. To avoid duplicate content issues, you can use "noindex" on one of them. 🤫Hidden Pages: If you have parts of your site that you only want to access through special links, "noindex" can help hide those pages from general search. 🔼So "noindex" is a useful tool to manage how your site is indexed by search engines. However, it should be used with caution, as improper use can negatively affect your site's SEO. Always consider carefully when and where you use "noindex"!

“This is actually Advanced SEO…” 🟠You need to be aware of this TRAP. See there’s no such thing called Advanced SEO. It’s basically making yourself a big mouth. 🔵There are advanced principles in SEO that you need to follow in order to push your rank a little bit more. And these principles are as simple as writing a JSON file. I’m talking about having right sitemaps on Google Search Console. 🟠I’m talking about having a Schema on your site. As well as an FAQ schema for FAQs separately. 🔵I’m talking about CSR (client side render) & SSR (server side render)... basically where is the webpage loading. On the client side? Or on the server side? SSR has a slight advantage, but it doesn’t matter that much. 🟠And in the end, CONTENT is THE KING! Like USABILITY or USER-EXPERIENCE is the QUEEN. Keep that in mind ;) PS Ever happened you were talking to a freelancer and he threw some jargons? What’s the best jargon you heard of? 😆 And PSS share this to a friend who wants to know ‘advanced seo’ and tell him it’s fake! LOL!

Google ranks websites based on its algorithms, which consider various factors related to the quality, relevance, and performance of your site. While there's no exact time frame, here are some factors that affect when and how your website gets ranked: 1. Crawling and Indexing – Google’s bots need to crawl and index your website first. This can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, depending on how often Google crawls your site. 2. Content Quality – Websites with high-quality, original, and relevant content are more likely to rank higher. Google takes time to assess the value of your content. 3. Backlinks – The more authoritative backlinks your website has, the faster and higher it can rank. Building backlinks, however, takes time. 4. Technical SEO – Factors like site speed, mobile-friendliness, and proper use of tags can influence ranking. Google usually rewards sites with a better user experience. 5. Competition – If your target keywords are highly competitive, it may take longer to rank. 6. Frequency of Updates – Regularly updated sites may be crawled and indexed more often, improving ranking chances. On average, SEO results may take 3 to 6 months for noticeable changes, but ongoing efforts are necessary for sustained ranking improvements.

Are Page Paths Essential for Topic Clusters in SEO? tldr; - If starting fresh, invest time in planning your page paths. - For existing sites, focus on robust internal linking instead. The URL structure isn’t the priority - content relevance and links are. A common question in the SEO world revolves around the importance of page paths, especially in the context of topic clusters. Let’s simplify this. Topic clusters consist of a main pillar page and related cluster content. The pillar covers the broad subject, while clusters dive deeper into specific aspects. This structure builds authority and improves search relevance. While page paths (the URL structure) can help organize content, they’re not the main focus. Interlinking is what truly defines relationships between pages. Clear paths make navigation easier and can help with performance analysis. However, changing existing page paths comes with risks: it can confuse users and search engines. Design thoughtfully, but don't lose sleep over page paths!

Google crawlers appeared in 2004, when SEO was just gaining momentum and website pages could consist of only keywords. They evaluate website content by parameters that algorithms cannot fully understand. Google's management realized that algorithms are not always able to adequately assess the quality of content. Therefore, it was decided to involve people to correct algorithm errors. ➡️ The assessors' ratings do not directly affect the positions of websites in the search results. They cannot decide that a site from the first place should be on the fifth. However, their ratings are taken into account when forming the top: if a page constantly receives low ratings from crawlers, its position may decrease, even if the algorithms support it.

What has been the biggest shift in technical SEO in recent years? This is a change in the way Google indexes your content. The more content people create, the more stringent quality filters Google sets for adding you to the index. The principle of marginal utility works not only in economics. The cost of indexing new pages remains the same (and even increases due to the larger number of JS sites), but the value of such pages for search quality decreases with each new unit. Google has enough quality content today to become more picky. The lesson? When launching a new site today or publishing a new page, you should act as if you only have one chance to please Google. Take your time and spend time preparing, and pump out quality pages right away. Do you agree that this is the biggest change in technical SEO in recent times? Or would you choose something else?
