One of the key topics we discussed at QEMER - ቀመር regarding "designing for the people."
How does one go beyond his / her ego, no matter how long they have invested in their field?
How do you know if you are being confident or egotistic?
The term " imposter syndrome "seems to rub off on every designer I meet, and they are becoming increasingly delusional. I have been one of the victims of this wave and it hindered my journey as a brand identity designer.
Know what you know and be bold to point out when the client is wrong, but know that some clients are more invested in their own industry than you could ever be. Set aside your ego and listen to what they want and where they want to go. Your place is to help them grow.
Harsh but true.
Focus on being better and doing better.

Eyuel at QEMER - ቀመር on '𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵-𝘛𝘰𝘶𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘋𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘴,' where he emphasized the importance of truly understanding both clients and the firms we design for. His perspective on creating designs that resonate deeply with the audience was truly inspiring.
