The key mistake that most of the startups do at a very early stage is the finance management. They don't really know how to manage their company's finances. The thing that they should be worried about is short-term survival and long-term success. Startups are not saving enough money to entertain a few months of drought and that mostly happens in the service based startups because the mentality with which the founders are playing the game is weak. Basic processes are always the same but you have to try multiple things and keep on doing a slightly different iterations of the conventional ways so you don't hit the plateaus quickly. Here are some key points that you always must keep in mind. 1. Focus on Core Competencies: Instead of spreading resources thin across various areas, concentrate on what your startup does best (THE X FACTOR). 2. Invest in Talent: Your team is your startup's most valuable asset. 3. Aggressive Marketing and Brand Building: In a crowded marketplace, visibility is paramount. Allocate a significant portion of your budget towards marketing and brand-building efforts to create awareness and establish a strong presence within your target audience. 4.
